WWE Star Makes Entrance With Legend At House Show WWE

A WWE star made a ring entrance with a legendary name at a house show this weekend in Florida as NXT held an event.

NXT star Javier Bernal made his entrance at the December 1 Citrus Springs house show and was greeted by a legendary wrestler at ringside.

Dory Funk Jr., the brother of Terry Funk, was on-hand at ringside featuring his signature cowboy hat and greeted Big Body Javi before he entered the ring.

The 82-year old legend is an icon of professional wrestling, having been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009, he seemingly gave the nod to Bernal regarding wearing a cowboy hat.

Javier Bernal continues to appear in NXT house shows and Level Up after having last had a match on NXT television in July 2023.

Elsewhere in NXT, there remains several on-going mysteries with one set to make a SmackDown crossover.

After announcing a new eight-man tournament to determine who will be the next o get a championship shot at Logan Paul and the United States Championship, one spot was reserved for a mystery NXT participant.

With several stars already teasing that it could possibly be them in the tournament, perhaps Bernal is another name for the list!
