Released WWE Star Hints At Return?

Former WWE star Eva Marie appears to have teased a return to the company, following her departure last year.

Marie first joined WWE in 2013, making her in-ring debut for the promotion that August, she was moved to NXT in 2015, before returning to the main roster in 2016.

In August 2017, Marie confirmed her WWE departure, before pursuing other ventures.

She returned to WWE TV in June 2021, after several weeks of vignettes hinting at her comeback.

She only wrestled seven matches for WWE during her second stint with the company, before her release during the November 2o21 round of cuts.

Numerous stars have returned to WWE following Triple H taking over creative in July.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful recently took to Twitter to indicate that more returns could be planned, writing:

“I don’t think we’re done with WWE returns.”

Interestingly, Eva Marie liked this post, fuelling speculation that she’s on her way back to the company. Marie has since liked several posts acknowledging these rumors.

Marie last wrestled on the September 20, 2021 edition of Raw, losing to her former protege Doudrop.

Doudrop recently shared an update amid her own WWE absence, and speculation about a character change.
