Following the December 27 edition of WWE Raw, several reports revealed that major WWE executives were absent from the taping, with the show run by “the most skeleton of crews.”
As per PWInsider, Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, Adam Pearce and Michael Hayes were all backstage at the State Farm Arena for WWE Day 1, after missing Raw.
Prichard has reportedly missed a number of recent TV tapings while recovering from an illness. McMahon watched the December 27 Raw via a direct line to the production truck feed, and reportedly had ‘quite a reaction’ to a fan sign referencing sign referencing AEW President Tony Khan.
Hayes and Jamie Noble were listed as producers for the WWE Championship five-way, per the report. You can read about the producers for other WWE Day 1 matches at this link.
