Triple H Planning To ‘Fast-Track’ 21-Year-Old NXT Star WWE

When WWE rebranded the NXT brand into NXT 2.0 in September of 2021, they did so with the idea that the new system would create more developmental prospects that would easier adapt to life on Raw or SmackDown.

A year on, and even though WWE has reverted the brand more towards a hybrid of the black and gold era and the 2.0 era, there are still many great prospects that have been created from the 2.0 era.

Aside from the obvious Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes, there are specifically a lot of prospects in the women’s division.

Roxanne Perez recently made her debut appearance on SmackDown, and the 21-year old is primed for big things in the future.

She recently defeated best friend turned arch enemy Cora Jade at NXT Halloween Havoc, who herself may have a bright future.

Speaking to GiveMeSport’s Louis Dangoor, the WrestleVotes Twitter account shedded some light on Cora’s status within the company, noting that the company loves her, and that she’s being ‘fast-tracked’ to become the ‘next Sasha Banks’.

They said:

“Everybody loves Cora. She’s on the fast track to becoming the next Sasha Banks.

“She has the same thing Sasha has, she’s talented she’s got this unique look about her, she’s super young and she’s pretty decent in the ring, right?

“The potential of her becoming a big deal is high and WWE sees that.”

Cora isn’t the only NXT prospect that the company sees big things in the future of, as it was reported earlier this week that WWE has debated a ‘Kevin Owens style’ call up for THIS NXT star.
