Two WWE Stars Forming New Partnership Ahead Of Big Match?

WWE star Sheamus has teased an interesting partnership ahead of his huge match on Monday’s (May 6) edition of Raw.

This week’s show will be a big one, with the first round of the King of the Ring tournament set to begin.

One of these first round matches will see Sheamus battle his former rival GUNTHER. During an online exchange, Sheamus dropped an intriguing tease, hinting at an alliance with a notable name.

Replying to GUNTHER’s tweet arguing that Sheamus is riding his coattails, Sheamus brought Giovanni Vinci into the conversation, writing:

I made you. I will break you. Your weak empire is falling apart.. @VinciWWE call me.

GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser kicked Giovanni Vinci out of the Imperium faction on the April 22 edition of Raw, following Kaiser and Vinci’s loss to the New Day.

For now, Vinci is on a completely different brand to GUNTHER and Kaiser, with the Italian star moved to SmackDown in the WWE Draft.

Sheamus and GUNTHER were at odds for most of the latter half of 2022, with Sheamus notably challenging for the Ring General’s Intercontinental Title at Clash at the Castle 2022, and the October 7, 2022 edition of SmackDown.

They also shared the ring at WrestleMania 39 in 2023, with Sheamus and Drew McIntyre unsuccessfully challenging for Gunther’s gold.

Other stars slated for first round matches in the King of the Ring tournament on Monday include Drew McIntyre, Ricochet and NXT call-up Ilja Dragunov.
