A WWE Hall of Famer has praise for the company’s Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T complimented the duo’s work throughout the pandemic period, although his comments about Bayley may have come across as lowkey savage.
He said:
“Sasha is a major player. She is one talent on the roster that you can always be able to go to and then know that she’s always going to deliver, especially in a big match. Bayley is the quintessential worker. She can go out there and she may not be great at anything but she’s good at everything. So when I watch Bayley go out and perform now, taking on this new persona, which is something that I couldn’t wait [to see happen,] I think it’s good for her, as well as we’re in this era again, this pandemic era. Everything right now is kind of like on hold in like a holding pattern and for those two to be in a position, in a holding pattern is perfect.”
Banks has actually taken to Twitter to respond, posting:
We’re better than Harlem Heat! Now can you dig that SUCKA @BookerT5x #sasha3shows #Bayley3Brands pic.twitter.com/LaV2lTHK20

Both women have been appearing across all three WWE brands since winning the Women’s Tag Titles, with Sasha Banks’ match against Io Shirai on NXT this past Wednesday drawing especially well against the AEW Fyter Fest main event.
Bayley defends the SmackDown Women’s Title against Nikki Cross at July 19’s Extreme Rules: The Horror Show, while Banks challenges Asuka for the Raw Women’s Title. We seem to be on course for a split and a match between the two at SummerSlam in August, although it could be saved for later than that providing how well they’re doing as a duo.
