You would probably think that someone inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame would have a good relationship with Vince McMahon. However, some people have had very bad relationships with McMahon as well. But what about someone who had no relationship with him?
WWE Hall of Famer Molly Holly recently revealed that she has only ever had one conversation with her former boss. Here is the quote from her appearance on Pro Wrestling 4 Life with Sean Waltman, courtesy of Fightful:
“The only conversation I’ve had with Vince in my entire career was when I asked to be released from my contract early… That’s the only time I’ve ever said more than ‘hello’ to him. The way that I got hired was through Jim Ross and throughout my time there, I would talk with writers or Head of Talent Relations, but I didn’t have conversations with Vince. It was a big deal for me to walk into his office and ask for my release and thank him for everything. I wouldn’t say I have a friendship with him or anything. He shook my hand at the Hall of Fame and I took a picture with him. He was very nice. That’s it.”
Molly Holly was inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer earlier this year. She retired from WWE in 2005 but has made sporadic appearances since.
