WWE Hall Of Famer Returning For WrestleMania Title Match?

If you watched Fastlane you will have seen Nia Jax and the human atmosphere vacuum Tamina beating down on WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix after their unsuccessful attempt to win the Women’s tag titles from Bayley and Sasha Banks.

Phoenix’s friend Natalya attempted to make the save, but was also overpowered by the Samoan duo, leading to speculation that a match could be made for WrestleMania between Jax, Tamina, Phoenix and Natalya.

Beth Phoenix has only wrestled once for WWE since retiring in 2011, as a surprise entrant in the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble in 2018.

She appeared on Raw this past Monday to support Natalya in a match with Nia Jax, and turned the heat up on rumours of a return by attacking Nia halfway through the match.

Cagesideseats are speculating that Phoenix and Natalya could have a title shot at WrestleMania, presumably in a triple threat tag match also featuring Jax and Tamina.

This year’s WrestleMania is set to be the longest of all time, with a possible 17 matches taking place, so they’re gonna need some big names to keep people’s attention.
