WWE Hall Of Famer Set To Appear On Monday’s Raw

Despite all the controversy surrounding WWE‘s Crown Jewel event for November 2, it appears that, for now at least, all systems are go and the event will still take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as planned.

One of the confirmed matches for the show, which seems set-up to be another of WWE‘s ‘glorified house shows,’ is D-Generation X vs. The Brothers of Destruction. PWInsider has confirmed that the build to that match will continue on this coming Monday’s Raw, with Shawn Michaels set to appear.

Michaels very much had a front row seat when his pal Triple H defeated the Undertaker at Super Show-Down earlier this month, though the pair were brutally assaulted by ‘Taker and his half-brother Kane after the fact.

The following Monday on Raw, HHH and HBK announced the tag match for Crown Jewel, which will be Michaels’ first match since WrestleMania 26 where he was retired by the ‘Deadman’ himself in a ‘Streak vs. Career’ match.

The latest development in this particular saga came this past Tuesday at SmackDown 1000. The show closed out with this promo courtesy of the ‘Demon of Death Valley:’

Wow, that added loads of tension and anticipation didn’t it. In fairness to the ‘Phenom,’ the segment was reportedly cut short because so much had been crammed into the show beforehand. Because the 25-minute build to R-Truth and Vince McMahon dancing for seven seconds wasn’t a waste of time at all.

What do you think Shawn Michaels will have to say on Monday’s Raw? Let us know in the comments, on Twitter, or on Discord!
