A WWE star has requested entry into the 2024 Royal Rumble match, with the potential to make history in the process.
With the 37th annual Rumble event now less than a week away, it seems an unlikely rising NXT star is hedging her bets for a surprise entry into the match.
In response to a tweet from the USA Network which asked for the public’s predictions for the Rumble event, 20-year-old Thea Hail wasted little time by requesting a spot in this year’s match.
Hail boldly requested:
PUT ME IN COACH
If Hail was added to this year’s Rumble proceedings she would make history as the youngest ever entrant into a women’s Rumble.
The existing holder of that title; Hail’s NXT colleague Roxanne Perez entered the 2023 Rumble match at the age of 21 years, two months and 23 days.
In fact at 20 years, four months and 18 days Hail would rank as the second youngest Rumble entrant ever only behind Rene Dupree (20 years, one month and 10 days).
At present there are just four stars confirmed for the 2024 women’s Rumble, that being: Nia Jax, Bayley, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair.
