A WWE match was cancelled tonight after the wrestlers were unable to compete because they couldn’t stop fighting before the match.
Dijak and Joe Gacy were set to have a match on tonight’s January 23 NXT after they tangled last week on the show however it wouldn’t officially begin.
During Dijak’s entrance, the unhinged Joe Gacy attacked and revealed just how vicious his latest character iteration can behave.
Gacy and Dijak battled towards the ring and continued to brawl until they were eventually able to be pulled apart.
With the NXT premium live event Vengeance Day set for Sunday, February 4, 2024, it’s possible the pair are set for a collision course on Peacock.
While Dijak and Gacy’s feud continues to heat up, another pair of NXT stars continue to see their unlikely alliance see Dusty Cup success.
In a match that actually was able to occur, Nathan Frazer and Axiom took on Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin in the Dusty Cup semi-finals.
With the win, Breakker and Corbin advanced to the finals of the Dusty Classic and are closer to taking home the Dusty Cup trophy.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, a major announcement as a fan favorite WWE name made their on-screen return and delivered big news about a development regarding leadership for the brand.
