WWE Announces Youngest General Manager Ever

WWE Announces Youngest General Manager Ever WWE

In a stunning backstage segment, WWE broke two different pieces of big news on tonight’s NXT involving Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

After earlier in the day The Rock joined the TKO Board of Directors, there was a big segment featuring Ava, his real life daughter on tonight’s show.

Showing Ava exiting Shawn Michaels office, she says ‘What a meeting…’ while turning back to see someone else emerge through HBK’s office door.

William Regal is heard saying, ‘Thank you Shawn,’ before joining the frame alongside Ava for a major announcement in his on-screen return to WWE.

William Regal of course had a foray on-screen in AEW before departing All Elite Wrestling to return to WWE.

Until recently, Regal was reported to be under a clause that saw him unable to appear on WWE television until January 2024.

While not appearing on screen, Regal has been continually involved backstage, sitting in Gorilla position at main roster shows and providing feedback to talent.

However, William Regal was on NXT tonight to break some news, telling Ava a hearty congratulations.

Congratulations were in order for Ava becoming the ‘youngest general manager’ of all time in WWE, revealing that she will be at the helm of NXT.

Letting her know the importance of the role, he encouraged Ava in her new position of power in NXT which is dear to Regal’s heart.

Regal himself was the NXT General Manager from 2014 until his departure in early 2022.

Elsewhere on tonight’s jampacked edition of the show, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker advanced to the finals of the Dusty Cup.
