WWE has hilariously finally updated the character of a current star, despite the recent announcement they would be leaving the company.
Last week, it was announced that NXT star SCRYPTS, the former Reggie, would be departing the company on June 1, with his contract set to expire.
SCRYPTS was rebranded back in early 2023, where he debuted under his new name and a mask, but was quickly unmasked several months later by Axiom.
Despite being unmasked in May 2023 and turning heel to join Out The Mud with Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, SCRYPTS’ official profile on WWE’s website still had SCRYPTS listed with his masked look.
However, that is no longer the case, as today, SCRYPTS was finally updated on the page to reflect his current character on NXT, over a year after his rebranding.
The timing of the change is rather bizarre, given SCRYPTS is officially set to depart the company in just over three weeks.
