A WWE name has reportedly not been retained by the company after having been on a ‘tryout’ earlier this year.
According to a report from Fightful, one wrestler who had recently been trying out as a producer in a backstage capacity in WWE has not been kept on board.
After starting in a tryout capacity earlier in the year, Fightful Select noted that Jason Cade hadn’t appeared on internal producer sheets in ‘quite some time’ and was rarely assigned to produce on his own.
According to sources, Cade has “not been with WWE in quite some time”, however no particular reason was given for the reason why he is no longer with the company.
Cade was said to have been referred to the role on recommendation of TJ Wilson/Tyson Kidd.
Another producer who had been working in a backstage capacity, Nick Aldis, has since transitioned into an on-screen authority role.
There’s an update on whether or not Aldis is continuing in his producer role as well now that he is SmackDown General Manager on television. You can click here to read more about that.
