Nick Aldis WWE Backstage Responsibilities Revealed In Addition To On-Screen Role

More is now known about the backstage WWE responsibilities for Nick Aldis since he has been introduced as an on-screen character.

While Aldis has been introduced as on-screen personality in the role of WWE SmackDown’s newest General Manager, he had previously been working backstage as a producer.

While it wasn’t initially known whether he’s be continuing his producer position now that he’s a big on-screen presence, Fightful Select has now confirmed that Aldis will continue in his producer capacities as well as on-screen appearances.

For last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Aldis served as the producer for a tag team dark match featuring Shotzi and Michin taking on the ‘Unholy Union’ of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce is also continuing in both roles, as he produced last night’s Austin Theory & Grayson Waller vs Cameron Grimes & Dragon Lee match.
