Former NXT Star Appears At WWE Backlash In France WWE

A former NXT star has made an appearance at WWE Backlash in Lyon, France in the opening segment of the show.

The former Sylvester Lefort as he was known in WWE NXT – or alternatively, as Basile Baraka in TNA Wrestling – was the security guard who got slammed onto the commentary table on last night’s SmackDown, and he was on the scene once again for Backlash today.

Lefort was on the NXT roster from 2013 to 2015, during which he was involved in storylines with the likes of Enzo Amore, Dax Harwood (Scott Dawson) and Miro (Rusev).

The other security guards on the scene during SmackDown and Backlash were also French pro-wrestlers.

Before the Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Tama Tomga could even begin a match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, they were brawling and unable to be pulled apart to the point that security had to be called upon.

Nick Aldis instead came out to announce that the match had become a No Disqualification Street Fight match and anything goes.

In the end, the match would end up revealing the addition of a brand new member of the Bloodline as Tama Tonga’s real-life brother Tanga Loa returned to WWE.

Loa himself is a former NXT star under the name Camacho, and was the tag partner of Hunico in his previous run in WWE.

After pulling the referee out of the ring, Loa would prove to be the difference maker as Solo Sikoa would go on to his the Samoan Spike on Kevin Owens to capture victory for the Bloodline at Backlash.
