Drew McIntyre Calls ‘BS’ On Title Match At WWE Backlash WWE

Drew McIntyre has called “BS” on a title match at tonight’s WWE Backlash (May 4) as he continues his social media hot streak.

Taking to social media to share the official WWE account’s post with a graphic announcing that Damian Priest had retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Drew McIntyre had thoughts.

McIntyre wrote:

“BS Champ.
“BS Number One contender.
“BS Tactics.
“BS Finish.
“BS Theatrics.”

McIntyre’s strong thoughts came after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Jey Uso included a variety of moving parts.

With multiple interferences from JD McDonagh and then later Finn Balor as well, Damian Priest able to capture the pinfall victory over Jey Uso.

Priest, as noted, was not happy about Balor and McDonagh getting involved, and confronted them after the match when they tried to continue to attack Uso.

Elsewhere on tonight’s premium live event, three of the four titles that were on the line on the show were retained by the champion who walked in holding them.

The aforementioned Priest retention of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship over Jey Uso, Bayley retained her WWE Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Naomi and Tiffany Stratton and Cody Rhodes retained the WWE Undisputed Championship against AJ Styles.

There was one title change however as Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair made history, winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from the Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane and Asuka).
