The wrestling world remains in shock following WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out of last night’s (May 16) episode of Raw.
Fans have been speculating and wondering all day about the future of the two in the company, and whether or not the pair will be suspended or even released from the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) posted a big update on the situation earlier today, reiterating that their frustrations with the company came from creative regarding the Women’s Tag Team Championship and division.
The report also notes that Banks and Naomi didn’t have any conflicts with any producers backstage, despite some rumours of the contrary, and that those they spoke to backstage do not expect Sasha Banks and Naomi to be released, but noted that nothing is a certainty.
