Dominik Mysterio Match Announced For Next Week’s NXT (July 18)

A big match was announced for Dominik Mysterio on tonight’s edition of WWE NXT for next week’s show. Find out all the details.

In a backstage segment with McKenzie Mitchell, the NXT North American Champion Wes Lee was talking about his record number of title defenses when he was interrupted by Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio from the Judgment Day.

“Are you the open challenge guy?” Mysterio asked, but when Lee explained that he hasn’t actually held an open challenge for a while now, Ripley got annoyed and they goaded him in.

With Lee telling the Judgment Day duo to “say less,” the match was set up for next week’s show.

Lee is already set to defend the North American Championship against Mustafa Ali at Great American Bash on July 30.

Other members of the Judgment Day, Finn Balor and Damian Priest, are in action on tonight’s show in the tag team main event against Trick Williams and NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode, an appearance by Gable Steveson who commented on his potential options for the future in a Performance Center parking lot interview.
