Facing an uncertain future, Olympic Gold medal winner Gable Steveson commented on his WWE plans on tonight’s episode of NXT (July 11).
Steveson’s first action in NXT came after the NXT Underground match last week as he suplexed several Performance Center trainees, but on this week’s show, an update on his potential future.
In a parking lot segment seemingly filmed after the Underground match, Steveson mentioned that between winning the World Championships, competing in the Olympics or continuing to explore his career with WWE at the NXT Performance Center, he still has a lot to think about.
As Steveson discussed, the United World Wrestling World Championships are coming up in September with training taking place before that as one option.
Steveson has also previously publicly commented that he is training for the Paris 2024 Olympics after having already taken steps to qualify by putting on a dominant performance at the US Open in April.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE NXT, Judgment Day popped by from WWE Raw and are set for action in the show’s main event.
