WWE is planning a big promotional push for NXT to beat AEW Dynamite in head-to-head battle.
On October 18, WWE and AEW will go head-to-head for the first time since the Wednesday Night War with Dynamite airing on Tuesday at the same time as NXT.
Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer tweeted on his Super Followers feed that fans watching tonight’s WWE Raw should expect a promotional push for tomorrow’s NXT episode.
Alvarez tweeted:
“Huge promotional push for the show, they’re determined to beat AEW.”
In a follow-up tweet, Alvarez mentioned, “Massive NXT promotion starting today.”
WWE NXT is going up against a stacked lineup for the special Tuesday night edition of AEW Dynamite, headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship.
The card for tomorrow’s WWE NXT can be seen below:
– Cameron Grimes and two mystery partners vs. Schism
– Alba Fyre vs. Sonya Deville
– Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. a mystery opponent selected by Tony D’Angelo
– Raquel Rodriguez vs. Cora Jade
– Roxanne Perez vs. mystery opponent

– AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Hangman Adam Page
– ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Dalton Castle

As previously reported, an interview with William Regal has been added to the lineup for tomorrow’s AEW Dynamite from Cincinnati. Ohio.
