It was reported last night that WWE was planning on bringing back the Elimination Chamber structure for their upcoming special event in Saudi Arabia next month.
Well, it turns out that the ‘Elimination Chamber’ may not be coming back at all, as Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that the company is looking to rebrand the match.
Meltzer notes that WWE is looking to rebrand the structur as the ‘WrestleMania Chamber’.
Meltzer tweeted:
WWE is looking at rebranding the Elimination Chamber the “WrestleMania Chamber.” Not official until it’s announced.
The name ‘Elimination Chamber’ has various negative connotations around the world, especially in Germany, where the pay-per-view has been titled ‘No Escape’ since it’s inception in 2010.
