WWE Plans For CM Punk On SmackDown Leaked

A new report has leaked WWE’s plans for CM Punk on the special Tribute To The Troops special edition of SmackDown.

At WWE Survivor Series 2023, CM Punk made his return to the company for the first time in nearly a decade.

After making his Raw return on the November 27 episode, Punk is set to make his return to the blue brand for the first time since 2014 on the December 8 edition of SmackDown.

Despite his first promo not giving fans much in regards to what’s next for the former AEW World Champion, a new report indicates answers will be given on tonight’s broadcast.

Per WrestleVotes, CM Punk’s in-ring segment on SmackDown will focus on his desire to “main event” WrestleMania 40.

Punk’s desire to headline the Show of Shows is well documented from his first stint with the promotion, and this being the focus of tonight’s segment is sure to give fans hope that he will finally accomplish his goal.

WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from tonight’s Tribute To The Troop edition of WWE SmackDown when they become available.
