After Triple H kicked off Raw After Mania, a shocking tag team partner revealed himself for Cody Rhodes tonight against Roman Reigns.
When Roman Reigns took the ring, he barely had encouraged Hollywood to ‘Acknowledge’ him before he was interrupted by Cody Rhodes.
Coming to the ring with purpose, Rhodes had one thing on his mind: rematch!
While Reigns declined (repeatedly) they eventually settled on a tag team match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa with two major conditions.
Paul Heyman informed Cody that anyone he teamed with needed to have competed in a match at WrestleMania AND they would never be eligible to challenge Roman Reigns for the title.
While it seemed to put Cody in a untenable predicament, fans were quickly reminded of one person who fit both criteria perfectly as Brock Lesnar’s music hit and he joined the ring.
Not only did Brock Lesnar compete at WrestleMania Sunday in the opening match, he also doesn’t care about part two of the stipulation because he is already ineligible to challenge Reigns again in this Championship reign.
Declining to kick off straight away, Roman and Solo left the ringside area with Paul Heyman in tow while Cody and Brock soaked in the mega pops from the excited Los Angeles crowd.
Elsewhere scheduled for tonight’s WWE Raw after Mania, a shock still to come in the main event as even the spoilers don’t know exactly who will be revealed as a mystery partner!
