WWE Raw extra and former Tough Enough cast member AJ Kirsch has commented on the reaction to their appearance.
On the February 26 edition of WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes defeated Grayson Waller in the main event. Post match, The Bloodline’s Paul Heyman came out to interrupt Cody’s celebration.
During the segment, Heyman was escorted to the ring by his own personal security, who he said were suspended NYPD cops. The security team were beaten down by Cody with a steel chair.
However, one of the security member looked familiar to many viewers as they happened to be a former WWE Tough Enough cast member in AJ Kirsch.
On February 27, AJ Kirsch took to social media to comment on his appearance. He wrote:
Truly blown away by the response after tonight’s #WWERaw main event segment to close a sold-out show from @SAPCenter on the road to #WrestleMania.
Calling it a night for now but will definitely have more to add on Tuesday.
Beyond grateful for tonight, now and forever
In a followup tweet, Kirsch posted some of the responses he has heard since Raw, which includes his appearance on Tough Enough and previous guest spots on WWE TV. He wrote:
One of my favorite things about the seg on #WWERaw last night is I’m seeing
Is that the guy from @WWEToughEnough?
Didn’t he voice Buzz in @WWEGames?
Wasn’t he 1/2 of the Yolo County Tag Team Champions?
Didn’t he win @TheRock‘s #RockThePromo championship?
All of it is correct
