Kevin Owens confronted Kurt Angle and was distressed about the treatment he’s received from Braun Strowman. He handed the GM a doctor’s note to say he wasn’t medically cleared to compete. KO told Angle he was going to hang out in Kurt’s office so he could be safe from The Monster Among Men. But Braun came in anyway. Angle then announced a Strowman-Owens steel cage match at Extreme Rules. Braun then sprayed air freshener at Owens, saying he “reeked of fear”. Ah well. The strong build-up streak ended at two.
Bayley and Sasha Banks continued counselling but with a woman, not Dr Shelby. Seems like WWE didn’t trust them after last week’s poor display so this was kept brief. Michael Cole announced they would have to report back to Kurt Angle next week.
