WWE Raw Sees Rey Mysterio Take On Finn Balor After Tense Segment

On tonight’s edition (July 11) of WWE Raw, Finn Balor of Judgment Day took on Rey Mysterio after some pre-match mind games.

In an in-ring segment, Damian Priest and Finn Balor attempted to recruit Dominik by not only telling him the benefits of joining but also running down all the reasons why he would flounder if he continued in an alliance with his father, WWE legend, Rey Mysterio ahead of the match between the elder Mysterio and Balor.

In a fun match between the two, there were multiple exciting nearfalls including after Mysterio hit a solid 619 in the final third of the match but he just couldn’t get it done.

Finally, after Finn Balor hit the big coup de grâce on Rey Mysterio to pick up the pinfall victory, Dominik was in the ring to check on his Father while both Finn and Damian continued to attempt to convince him to join their Judgment Day ranks.

Elsewhere on the show, a WWE Raw Women’s Championship re-match, pitting champ Bianca Belair against challenger Carmella as well as the return of Brock Lesnar with a few interruptions.
