WWE Raw star Nikki Cross debuted a hilarious new nickname last night to accompany her new ‘superhero-esque’ persona.
Ahead of her match with Shayna Baszler last night, Cross was announced by ring announcer Mike Rome as ‘Almost a Superhero, Nikki Cross”.
She was also called Nikki Ash a few times, with the ASH seemingly standing for Almost a Superhero, but it doesn’t seem like that’s an official name change yet.
Cross won her match against Baszler on Raw after Alexa Bliss had appeared to take out Nia Jax and Reginald at ringside.
A lot of fans weren’t impressed with Cross’ new gimmick last week, but it turns out it was actually her idea, and people seemed to become more receptive after finding that out.
