WWE Raw Superstar Suspended For Wellness Violation

Tonight [January 27, 2020] on WWE Raw, Andrade defended his US Title against Humberto Carillo in a rematch from last night’s Royal Rumble.  It was odd that Carillo got a rematch considering he lost to Andrade the night before.

After the match tonight, Carillo snapped. He looked to have the match won until Vega broke up a pin and got Andrade disqualified.

Ultimately, Carillo got some revenge on Andrade.  Carillo removed some padding from the floor.

Humberto ended up hitting a Hammerlock DDT on the exposed concrete. This move took Carillo off TV for several weeks.

Apparently, the returning of the favor was all to set up Andrade missing some TV time. However, Andrade’s vacation won’t be due to injury.

According to Fightful.com, the angle tonight writing him off was due to Andrade’s violating WWE’s Wellness Policy. It isn’t clear what substance caused Andrade to fail the test. However, Andrade has been suspended for 30 days.
