WWE Raw Viewership Massively Up With Legends Night

WWE Raw Viewership Massively Up With Legends Night

Bringing back the legends is something Vince McMahon often does when Raw viewership drops, and you can understand why based on the viewership figures for this week’s show.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, the special Legends Night episode of Monday Night Raw this week drew an average of 2.13million viewers, with an impressive 0.68 in the 18-49 demographic.

This is certainly good news for WWE,  with the first show form the red brand of 2021 drawing 361,000 viewers more viewers than the previous week, which brought in an average of 1.769 million.

The show was also up significantly in the 18-49 demographic, with the 0.68 rating from this week being 0.16 more than the figure from the December 28th show (0.52).

The show featured the return of several legends including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Goldberg, with the latter going on to challenge Drew McIntrye following his fantastic WWE Championship match with Keith Lee.

Below is the hour-by-hour breakdown of viewership from the show:

  • Hour One – 2.197million (0.70)
  • Hour Two – 2.036million (0.68)
  • Hour Three – 2.150million (0.66)

The high viewership for this week’s show was to be somewhat expected, with the viewership also expected to be up for next week’s show as WWE builds towards Goldberg and Drew McIntyre’s Royal Rumble match.
