WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn has now reflected on her appearance on the July 17 edition of Monday Night Raw.
On the show, Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green defeated Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
This title change was special for Deville and Green as this marked both stars’ first WWE championship win.
The bout was also special for referee Daphanie LaShaunn, who got to officiate a title match in her home state of Georgia.
Noting that her family was in the building to watch her, LaShaunn tweeted:
I got to referee a championship match…in my home state…in front of my parents and husband.🥰 Indescribable.🥹🙌🏾

Another star who also had a parent at the show was Cody Rhodes, who unfortunately got attacked by Brock Lesnar in front of his mother who was sitting at ringside.
During the show, Lesnar accepted Rhodes’ challenge for a match at SummerSlam.
WWE reportedly has plans to change up this match, which you can read more about right here.
