Released WWE Star ‘Buzzing’ Following First Match As Free Agent

A former WWE star is “buzzing” after completing their first match back on the independent scene since being released from the company in September.

With fellow WWE releases Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali and Matt Riddle already making exciting moves in 2024 as free agents, we can also now add another to that list as Mansoor has recently made his return to the ring.

Competing at HoodSlam: I Still Know What You Did Last HoodSlam on January 5, Mansoor went over 20 minutes in a match with Dark Sheik.

Based off his tweet following the match, Mansoor was thrilled to be back competing inside a ring once again, having last wrestled all the way back in a May 15 battle royal on WWE Raw.

Mansoor uploaded footage of his match at HoodSlam, along with a heartfelt message of thanks:

Now that Mansoor has gotten his feet wet back, he will have to prepare for what is looking to be a busy January with other bookings for promotions such as DPW and several GCW shows towards the end of the month.
