WWE is reportedly still interested in signing AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill.
Per Andrew Zarian on The Mat Men podcast, some within WWE have shown interest in the star since seeing her in action on Dynamite and Rampage. Zarian noted:
“I know for a fact that people in WWE are interested in her now that they’ve gotten to see what she can do on TV.”
Cargill recently confirmed that she had received a contract offer from WWE before choosing to join AEW. The TBS Champion stated that AEW made her feel like more than just a number, not wanting to end up in a ‘cookie-cutter system’.
Making her AEW debut in November 2020, Cargill has been heavily showcased on TV since first appearing for the company. The champion is currently undefeated in AEW singles competition.
