Following their match announcement, WWE star Chad Gable has addressed his rival Sami Zayn ahead of WWE King and Queen of the Ring.
On the April 15 edition of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn defeated Chad Gable to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Post match, Gable turned heel by attacking Zayn in a brutal beatdown.
Since then, Gable has become a thorn in the side of Zayn and his challenger Bronson Reed. On the May 6 WWE Raw, Reed and Gable went to a no contest when Sami interfered to attack both men.
This forced Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to announce that Zayn will defend the I.C. Title against Reed and Gable in a triple threat match at WWE King & Queen of the Ring on May 25.
On May 7, Chad Gable took to social media to comment on his title opportunity and address his rival in Sami Zayn. He wrote:
Your never-ending sneak attacks. Your incessant need for validation. You just couldn’t let sleeping dogs lie.
You earned the punishment that’s coming your way, Sami. And through suffering, I’ve earned the right to bestow it upon you.
I’ve never been so giddy.
