The Bloodline is more than just a WWE faction, it’s a family and there’s a potential new member that will no doubt be on the radar.
With three children already in the WWE, the stats alone are likely to make a fourth of Rikishi’s sons a shoe-in for a future in the wrestling ring.
Currently, Jimmy & Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa are all members of the WWE roster, following in the footsteps of their father and the legendary Anoa’i family.
Dave Meltzer has now written about the WWE Hall of Famer’s youngest son in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), writing:
In a potential look at the future, Samson Fatu, the youngest son of Rikishi and younger brother of the Usos and Solo Sikoa, is a high school football star at Notre Dame High in Sherman Oaks, CA, listed at 6-foot-5, and 265 pounds. He just received his first Division I offer from Portland State University.
Standing at 6′ 5″, this would put him two inches over Roman Reigns’ billed height and Samson Fatu is only 15 years old.
Reigns played football for Pensacola Catholic High School for three years and one year for Escambia High School.
He would spend the 2007 NFL draft as undrafted and would sign for Minnesota Vikings in 2007.
In August 2007, he would sign for Jacksonville Jaguars only to be released shortly thereafter, signing with Edmonton Eskimos in 2008.
He would sign a developmental contract with WWE in 2010, starting his career in the FCW territory and being part of the rebranding as WWE NXT that would take place in 2012.
