Former WWE Star Opens Up About Partying With Shawn Michaels WWE

A former WWE star has opened up about weekends of “partying with the extras in it” with Shawn Michaels in Las Vegas.

Marty Jannetty has recently spoken about his desire to join Michaels in WWE and train the next generation of stars while speaking to Sportskeeda.

Known for their time as The Midnight Rockers in the independent scene and The Rockers in WWE, Jannetty and Michaels spent a lot of time together.

During his interview with Sportskeeda’s WrestleBinge, Jannetty would also reveal what went on during their party days, saying:

“We would do every third weekend in Vegas for Showboat. We were young. We did a lot of things we shouldn’t do back then.

“The partying with the extras in it, you know, besides the alcohol.

“Vegas is a place that never sleeps. I know New York City doesn’t either, but Vegas is like, you open your door, here’s the party waiting on you.”

Jannetty would also reveal that he and Michaels still keep in touch, texting every “once in a great while”.

He would also say that he no longer has an interest in returning to the ring, having recovered from ankle surgery a couple of years ago, though with some complications.

Michaels is currently leading the development of talent in WWE NXT and serves as Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative.
