This weekend, WWE brings the wrestling action to France giving a schedule change to the May 3 episode of SmackDown in the United Kingdom.
SmackDown airs on TNT Sports 1 in the UK this evening and will go live at 6pm, finishing at 8pm, instead of airing at the normal time of 1am to 3am.
According to TV Insider, the show will still air at the normal time of 8pm ET in the United States, meaning it’ll be on a seven-hour delay.
The same thing occurred last year when WWE Money in the Bank and the SmackDown before it were held in England.
The May 4 Premium Live Event WWE Backlash will air live worldwide, at 6pm in the United Kingdom and 1pm ET in the US.
Matches announced for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown include the WWE Tag Team Championship Match with A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) defending against The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins).
Elsewhere on the show, we’ll be treated to the “first-ever RKO Show” hosted by Randy Orton and Kevin Owens, who will be teaming at Backlash to take on The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga).
Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles will also appear ahead of their match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Backlash.
