It was announced on the June 26th edition of SmackDown Live that the newly reunited Team Hell No would challenge the Bludgeon Brothers for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WWE Extreme Rules 2018.
Daniel Bryan had gotten himself in a spot of bother with Harper and Rowan in recent times and on June 26th took on the former in the main event of SmackDown Live.
However, the match ended when Rowan ambushed the ‘GOAT’ thus forcing a DQ. The former Wyatt Family members continued their assault until Bryan’s former tag team partner Kane returned and fought them off.
SmackDown Live General Manager Paige wasted no time in immediately confirming the championship bout for the July 15th Extreme Rules.
This calls for a #YES! chant!

This past Tuesday though, former tag champs the Usos stated that Team Hell No had done nothing to earn their title opportunity. This led to Paige making a match between the two teams and if Jimmy and Jey won, they would be added to the match at WWE Extreme Rules and it would become a Triple Threat.
Team Hell No were victorious, confirming them as the Bludgeon Brothers’ sole challengers in just over a week’s time.
Bryan and Kane are former WWE Tag Team Champions, having won the gold at Night of Champions 2012 by defeating Kofi Kingston and R-Truth.
They retained the straps eight times before being dethroned by Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins of the Shield at WWE Extreme Rules 2013.
The Bludgeon Brothers won the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 34, defeating New Day and then-holders the Usos in a Triple Threat match.
They successfully retained in the Samoans’ rematch at Greatest Royal Rumble and also have two defenses against Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, including a win on the Money in the Bank Kickoff show.
