WWE SmackDown Viewership Down From Overnight Figure, Still Up From Last Week

Last week’s SmackDown was one of the most poorly-received shows in recent memory, with several of the segments being problematic and counter-productive for a number of different.

The show kicked off the Jeff Hardy as a guest on MizTV, where The Miz and John Morrison poked fun at Hardy’s very real battles with addiction and substance abuse. The segment angered many online.

However, the worst segment, by far, was the SmackDown Karaoke Showdown. Tamina, Naomi, Lacey Evans and Dana Brooke compete in a singing contest that felt like it was out of 2010 instead of 2020.

The segment was so bad, that one SmackDown star compared it to making chicken salad out of chicken s***. You can read more about that by clicking here.

Initially, overnight viewership for last week’s show was at 1.905 million, but it has now been revealed that the average viewership for the 07/10 show is actually a little bit lower than that.

ShowBuzz Daily is reporting that Friday Night SmackDown last week brought in 1.900 million viewers. Despite being a woeful show, it managed to bring an average of 123,000 more viewers than the week prior.
