An impressive new WWE star has promised to bring ‘brute force’ to the company following their recent redebut.
The NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament got underway on last night’s episode of WWE NXT, with Riley Osbourne defeating Keanu Carver, while Oba Femi defeated Myles Borne.
While the tournament is the first match on NXT television for most members of the tournament, Oba Femi had previously debuted on NXT television, back at the NXT Spring Breakin’ special, defeating Oro Mensah.
Following his impressive redebut, WWE has shared a digital exclusive interview with Femi, who has promised to bring ‘brute force’ to the tournament.
He said:
“You see, NXT is lacking in one department severely, and that is the department of brute force.
“Nobody’s brutal anymore. Everybody’s soft. Everybody is determined. Everybody’s trying to get to the end by soft means.
“But that is exactly what Oba Femi has to offer. That is exactly what I’m bringing to the men’s breakout tournament… Brute. Force”.
A big change was made to the tournament on last night’s show, when Lexis King attacked Trey Bearhill ahead of the tournament.
The attack led to King replacing Bearhill in the tournament, with him set to face Dion Lennox on next week’s show.
