WWE Star Doesn’t Think His Character Is An Actual Human Being WWE

A WWE star doesn’t think his on-screen character is an actual human being.

Karrion Kross came to prominence as Killer Kross in AAA, Lucha Underground and IMPACT Wrestling. He eventually made his WWE debut on the NXT brand in 2020.

After a dominant maiden voyage on the brand and winning the NXT Championship, Kross had to relinquish the title due to injury. However, he made his return and regained the top prize on the brand for a second time.

Kross eventually moved up to the Raw brand in July 2021. After an inconsistent run on Monday nights, Karrion was released from WWE in November of that same year.

However, the WWE star later returned in August 2022 to become a featured member of the SmackDown brand.

In a new interview with Muscle & Fitness, Karrion Kross shared his thoughts on his on-screen persona and described how he doesn’t view his character as an actual human being. He stated:

“I like to think of Karrion Kross, not actually as a human being. I like to think of him as a very dark energy in the room.”

“Like, when you walk into a place that you know you shouldn’t be, late at night, like a haunted house or something.”

“You know you shouldn’t be there, but you feel like you should stay because you are about to see something that you are not going to be able to see anywhere else! He is the dark energy in the room, manifesting as a person.”

Karrion Kross is scheduled to face Rey Mysterio on the January 27 edition of WWE SmackDown. He will also take part in the Men’s Royal Rumble match at the titular event this Saturday, January 28.
