Following news of a positive result emerging on Monday following Raw, WWE cancelled yesterday’s scheduled set of TV tapings to test staff, employees and wrestlers for COVID-19.
As such, WWE is hoping to resume tapings today, and according to PWInsider, was hoping to kick things off at the Performance Center at 11an EST.
Well it seems like the test results are now coming in, as former United States Champion and current Raw star MVP took to Twitter to share the news of his negative test.
Aaaaaaand the results are IN!!!!!
Ya man is NEGATIVE for Coviid-19! https://t.co/uY8OhTo28r— MVP (@The305MVP) June 17, 2020
This is obviously fantastic news for WWE and MVP, and we hope that everyone within the company tests negative for the virus.
There is no word on any other tests results at this time, so make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on this.
Speaking of MVP, it emerged yesterday that WWE is planning to turn a current champion heel and have him join MVP and Lashley as a stable on Raw. You can find out more about that by clicking here.
