WWE Star On SmackDown TV Taping: “The Worst I’ve Ever Seen It”

Last night’s SmackDown was not too well-received by wrestling fans and critics alike, with the show being described as boring and largely missable online by some.

In particular, one angle on last night’s show actually seems to have angered a fair few people. You can read more about that story by clicking here.

Last week, Gary Cassidy shared that one of his sources within WWE had told him that the SmackDown TV taping was “crazy” and one of the worst they’d ever seen it.

He has since confirmed that his source was talking about the taping of last night’s show at the Performance Center.

“I woke up this morning to an interesting message sent through the night regarding the #SmackDown tapings for tonight and next week, simply saying it was, “The worst I’ve ever seen it” and “crazy” backstage.”

As Gary revealed last week on Twitter, WWE showed the full Universal Championship match at Money in the Bank between Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt. This was to build up to their Swamp Fight at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules.
