WWE star Rezar of the Authors of Pain and The Final Testament has teased a championship match after changing brands.
In the 2024 WWE Draft, The Final Testament’s Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Paul Ellering, Akam and Rezar of the Authors of Pain were selected to the Monday Night Raw brand, marking their move from SmackDown.
The Final Testament debuted on the SmackDown brand in January 2024 where they have mostly feuded with Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits.
Ahead of the May 6 edition of WWE Raw, Rezar took to social media to tease AOP’s desire for a World Tag Team Championship Match on the brand. He wrote:
Tonight #WWERaw! We will search for the world tag team champions and we will find them… We will make them dig their own before we put them in it. @WWE @PaulElleringWWE @SunnyDhinsa @realKILLERkross @Lady_Scarlett13
Authors of Pain last wrestled in their final match on the SmackDown brand in a win over New Catch Republic on the May 3 episode.
It remains to be seen if or when AOP will get their shot at current World Tag Team Champions Awesome Truth at the time of this writing.
