WWE Stars React To Major WWE Raw Rematch

Two top WWE stars have reacted to their upcoming major rematch on tomorrow night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.

At last night’s Backlash event, WWE announced the official brackets for the Raw side of the upcoming King and Queen of the Ring tournaments.

The Raw side of the King of the Ring tournament got a lot of fans excited, with the four first round matches being Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor, Ilja Dragunov vs. Ricochet and the highly anticipated third encounter between Sheamus and Gunther.

Sheamus and Gunther had arguably WWE’s match of the year in 2022 at Clash at the Castle, as well as a rematch on SmackDown the following month, and a Triple Threat match also featuring Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 39.

Taking to Twitter today, Sheamus reacted to his upcoming rematch with Gunther, noting that the ‘trilogy ends’ on Monday.

He wrote:

Now he’s a beaten man, The Trilogy ends. 666 the number of the ceased.

Gunther also reacted to the rematch, noting that Sheamus was ‘always riding his coattails’.

He simply said:

Forever riding on my coattail…..

Sheamus responded to Gunther’s claim, referencing his recent betrayal of Giovanni Vinci.

He said:

I made you. I will break you. Your weak empire is falling apart.. @VinciWWE call me.
