Some of the WWE stars who attended a recent meeting with Vince McMahon about the company’s edict on Twitch accounts have been revealed.
PWInsider reports that AJ Styles and Xavier Woods were among those in attendance for the meeting, which took place on October 29 in Stamford.
The meeting seemingly failed to change Vince McMahon’s mind as Styles and several other stars suspended their accounts the following day.
It has since been reported that, for now at least, NXT stars are exempt from the edict and can continue with their streaming channels.
Paige, who is under contract with WWE but isn’t an in-ring competitor, has continued with her channel anyway following a very emotional breakdown about the edict.
Andrew Yang has said previously that if Joe Biden was elected President he would look into the “independent contractor” situation, including the third party control, and essentially make it right.
