WWE ‘Super High’ On Current Free Agent WWE

WWE is “super high” on a current free agent and former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille after her departure from NWA.

The wrestling free agency in 2024 has been a hot topic of discussion among the wrestling community before the new year rang in.

With top stars such as Mercedes Mone and Kazuchika Okada being targeted, there are other stars from multiple different promotions who will making moves this year as well.

On January 1, 2024, former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille became a free agent after her contract with Billy Corgan’s promotion expired. The split was described as amicable after she gave her notice that she was not seeking a new deal.

According to Haus of Wrestling, a tenured source indicated that WWE is “super high” on Kamille and high up on the company’s radar that is currently in signing mode following the merger with UFC.

Higher ups within TKO have stated that the company is currently in “acquisition mode” and is looking to land fresh talent that can make an immediate impact.

PWInsider provided an update, noting that their WWE source stated that Kamille is 100% on their radar.

The report also notes that there has been internal discussion about the former NWA World Women’s Champion debuting on the NXT brand last month.

It remains to be seen if Kamille will eventually sign with WWE or not at the time of this writing.

Kamille’s last match for NWA was on the November 18, 2023 episode of NWA Powerrr. She teamed with her real-life husband Thom Latimer in a losing effort against Looks That Kill’s Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova.

WrestleTalk will provide further updates on WWE’s interest in Kamille when they become available.
