TNA Wrestling Star Admits They Weren’t Ready For WWE Run WWE, TNA

A TNA Wrestling star has admitted that they weren’t ready for their run in WWE, over two years following their last match for the company.

Being one of many casualties of the closure of the NXT UK brand, Dani Luna has since gone on to carve a path of success since her August 2022 release from WWE.

Competing not only for promotion’s such as RevPro in her native England, Luna has recently made a mark in TNA since debuting for the company in May 2023.

Since her debut, Luna has mixed it up with well-known stars such as WWE’s Naomi, AEW’s Deonna Purrazzo and TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

Despite having a promising future ahead of her in TNA, the 24-year-old has admitted that she perhaps had her shot in the WWE a bit too early – lacking the experience required to make it a success.

Speaking to Denise Salcedo, Luna said:

“I don’t think I was necessarily ready for that sort of stage at my age and my experience level, but it gave me so many tools that I think now I can bring to somewhere like TNA where I’m a bit more grown up, a bit more experienced, and a lot more prepared for it.”

Despite the move to WWE not panning out Luna expressed her gratitude for ending up where she has – saying that TNA is: “exactly what I needed at this point in my career.”

Another ex-WWE star who now competes in TNA has recently admitted that he requested his release from the company several times before being let go in September 2023.
