On the December 18 episode of WWE Raw, the team of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter won their first main roster gold.
The pair defeated Chelsea Green and Piper Niven to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in a match that can be seen below this news story.
The victory saw Chance and Carter hit the Afterparty on Green for the victory.
Niven is, as you would imagine, unhappy with the outcome, promising that all she “wants for Christmas is revenge” in post-match comments.
Triple H has also reacted to the win on Twitter, posting:
“The party’s just getting started…
“Congratulations to your NEW @WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions @Katana_WWE & @wwekayden. #WWERaw”
The message was accompanied by a finger-point photo with the WWE head of creative and chief content officer.
This isn’t Chance and Carter’s first brush with WWE gold with the pair having also held the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Chance and Carter won the vacated championship in a Fatal Four-Way on August 2, 2022, that also featured Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley, Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne), and Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz.
They would hold the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship for 186 days, losing to Fallon Henley and Kiana James at Vengeance Day on February 4, 2023.
