Former Champion Doesn’t Think WWE Would Ask Them To Return For Royal Rumble

Former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim has commented on the possibility of a return in the upcoming Royal Rumble match.

With Royal Rumble matches usually featuring several shocks and surprises, there have been a lot of rumors swirling about what WWE could have in store for this year’s show.

Speaking with DS Shin of Ring The Belle, Gail Kim addressed the likelihood of her appearing in a Royal Rumble match, with the TNA producer pointing out that TNA and WWE have worked together in the past.

Unsure whether WWE would ask her to appear in a Rumble, she said:

“First off, I don’t think they would ask me (laughs), which is okay.

“You saw Mickie and what a great relationship.

“Scott D’Amore, as our leader in IMPACT, has done some amazing things. Whatever happens happens.”

Mickie James appeared in the 2022 Royal Rumble, notably wearing her TNA (IMPACT) Knockouts World Championship on WWE TV.

With Trinity (fka Naomi in WWE) dropping the Knockouts World Title to Jordynne Grace at Saturday’s (January 13) Hard To Kill show, it has been heavily speculated that she’s preparing to return to WWE.
